(2021) Turning the downtime of the pandemic shutdown into something positive, Clem started writing & writing. Taking note of some of his new originals, performing partner Rusty Speidel, suggested he get them recorded. Over a few nights in Clem’s living room, and long hours on his laptop at home, producer Speidel helped to shape five tunes into this new EP, Rivannarama. Also loaning their talents to the album are neighbor/friend/keyboard phenom, Matty Metcalfe (organ, piano, electric piano) and fiddle sensation, Malia Furtado.

(2010) EP – The Michael Clem Trio features Clem on guitar, mandola, harp & mouth, and he is sandwiched by two fine fellow Charlottesville VA music chums, Rusty Speidel (of SGGL fame) on guitar & higher vocals, plus Thomas Gunn on upright bass & lonesomer vocals.
Recorded one December evening in Crozet VA, this five-pack introductory EP features four new Clem originals, and an ole cowpoke classic, sung by rustlin’ curmudgeons – so ornery – they’d shoot other men just for snorin’.

(2006) After 15 years with Eddie from Ohio, and forty years on the planet bassist/guitarist/mouth-organist/mouth-vocalist/tunesmith Michael Clem releases his first solo CD, 1st & 40. Featuring 11 new original songs by Clem, this project was produced by EFO bandmate, Eddie Hartness, who also anchored the drums and percussion. Other guests include Daniel Brindley (on keys), as well as backup vocals from bandmates Julie Murphy Wells and Robbie Schaefer. Clem does everything else, including some trombone (against everyone’s wishes).
