Michael Clem & Rusty Speidel @ Potter’s Craft Cider

*JUST ADDED*
A past nominee for BEST OF C-VILLE 2022 & 2024 in the “Music Artist” category, local singer-songwriter Michael Clem has managed to continue his life as a full-time musician for several decades. For 31 years, Clem had been playing bass, singing and writing songs for the national touring act he co-founded, Eddie from Ohio. Since 2008, with the band slowing down, Clem has relocated from Northern Virginia to Charlottesville where he’s established quite a foothold in its musical scene, with a variety of solo, duo, trio & ensemble configurations.
Clem’s partner in crime, Rusty Speidel, is no stranger to the Charlottesville scene. A founding member of the beloved SGGL, Speidel has carved out quite a reputation in Central VA not only as a singer-songwriter, but as a producer to several artists (including Clem) as well as a reliable side slinging guitarist with numerous acts throughout the years, and has graced the Potter’s stage many times.
Clem and Speidel have formed a great partnership going back to 2009, and have curated a fine arsenal of tunes – originals and thoughtful Americana covers the lend themselves to their two guitar/vocal harmonies chemistry.
